Billy Cummings was saved at the age of 15 and was called to the ministry at 16 under his pastor, Doyle Wesson at Faith Baptist Church in Texarkana. 

Billy served as music minister, children’s church pastor and in the bus ministry, which was the biggest reason he started back into church, thanks to Pastor Lendell Skinner.   He served as youth minister and in the bus ministry at Tennessee Baptist Church in Texarkana under Pastor Orville Farren. 

Billy was senior pastor at Faith Community Baptist Church in Rock Hill and spent a number of years in music ministry with Reunion Quartet and Trio, located in Texarkana. 

After moving to the Austin area, Billy became senior pastor at Grace Family Fellowship, before returning to the cowboy church. In 2016 he became the interim pastor of Capital Cowboy Church, now known as Brushwood Cowboy Church in Kyle Texas 

After serving 4 1/2 years as interim pastor, Brushwood Cowboy Church called him to be the senior pastor. His wife of 14 years, Trish Suris Cummings, was a huge part of the ministry.  She went home to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness.

Dave was the pastor of Flames of Glory Cowboy Church for several years over in Bastrop. His wife Carol also helps in the music and is part of our hospitality team that came to us a few years ago and has been a tremendous blessing in every aspect of the ministry.

Pastor Jeff Bishop was appointed to serve as Brushwood Cowboy Church's Elder September, 2020.  He serves as The Senior Pastor of Ridin' The River Cowboy Fellowship in Bandera, Texas.

Pastor Danny Bray was appointed to serve as Brushwood Cowboy Church's Elder September, 2020.  He serves as Senior Pastor of Soldiers Of The Cross Cowboy Fellowship in Nolenville, Texas.
